Himitsu Teriyaki

It's cool. Convient to work location kinda pricey though.

This place has excellent service and makes some pretty good teriyaki. They are kinda pricey but i mean its pretty typical of most teriyaki. I would say the price us well justified for the food quality and the service they provide and if you get the chance definitely come support this sweet little place!

I happened on the soft Grand Re-Opening and found the place jumping and a line of hungry Himitsu fans. We have waited 6 months and we will wait as long as it takes to get our first taste of the freshest, most delicious Teriyaki around. "It was so worth waiting for!" Superwoman & owner, Sue, had her running shoes on and zipped around caring for all our needs. We so appreciate it! Our neighborhood is complete, once more. My granddaughter, Madi, says it is the best Teriyaki in the world. I tend to agree. She will be happy next time she visits:-)

This is extremely good Teriyaki, as well as entire menu. We eat here weekly. We appreciate their kindness and smiles. This is a family friendly restaurant for sit down or take out!

Edit- The place has since changed owners and they are very nice. However, they changed many of Sues recipes and they just aren't as good in my opinion. After today's experience I will no longer be ordering Chicken Teriyaki from here. The chicken was cooked perfectly as usual, however, it seems like they just poured room temperature sauce all over the chicken after it was cooked. This made for an odd difference in temperatures. Also their Teriyaki sauce/glaze isn't nearly as good as it used to be. It used to be a see through honey/brown color and now it is very dark and almost grainy and far too much of it is used.

Food is great but this is the second time my request for extra teriyaki sauce was ignored and it didn't even come with the one sauce it should have. Teriyaki isn't very good without teriyaki sauce. Have some awareness that your Uber Eats and Doordash customers are paying $30 after fees for one of your $14 dollar meals and put the effort into making sure orders are complete and accurate before letting it leave your restaurant.

Excellent teriyaki and friendly staff. I enjoy the extra detail of them bringing out the fortune cookies towards the end of your meal.

The egg rolls were perfect. We had number 14 chicken & gyoza. Chicken was tender, perfectly cooked. Gyozo was nice and crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Unless you have a huge appetite I recommend you stick with the small serving. Relaxing music on the radio.

I ordered Spicy Chiken and Gyosa and I got regular "Chiken and Gyosa" non spicy but they just added hot sauce on top, not what I ordered or wanted, the lady at counter is super nice and always giving us extra sauce at not charge that's the only reason I'm coming back. I will give them a chance

I've been coming to Himitsu for years and have always been satisfied. Sue does a great job running the front of the house and always greets you with a smile. They use high quality meats and the salad leaves are fresh & crunchy. My whole family loves Himitsu and we continue to go every month!

Good food but can get very busy at dinner time.

Where's the beef? Today is the second time I ate at this place. My yakisoba was very tasty, but it contained less than an ounce of beef. If you expect a reasonable portion of meat in your Asian food, this is not the place for you (or me).

I've always had a fantastic experience at Himitsu Teriyaki. The atmosphere is clean and cozy, the staff are incredibly friendly and warm, and the food they serve is of the best quality and taste in the Seattle area. Hands down my favorite teriyaki ever. Aside from the delicious teriyaki, their Gyoza is amazing. Gotta try a Gyoza combo or side. Highly reccomend!

Good food

Will travel past 4 other Teriyaki joints to get to Himitsu. Simply my favorite. The food is fresh, tastes great, and the staff is always pleasant. Only downside (which is common with Teriyaki restaurants) closed on Sunday.

Consistently good food and good service.

Disappointed that my food didnt come with brown rice, I asked for brown rice because I'm diabetic. I didnt get utensils to eat with. The white rice I got tasted off, not slightly sweet or flavorful like it should be. The teriyaki itself was good overall but I felt more frustration and disappointment, than anything else while eating because of what I've already mentioned. It wasn't worth the money to me.

The food here is always top notch and all the sauces they use are fantastic. It's really tough going anywhere else when I want takeout.

Anxiously awaiting the re-opening. I work a few blocks away and in their absence I have been reminded why we eat here. Not only is the food top notch and reasonable, Sue is delightful and greets us with a warming smile every time we visit.We miss Himitsu and hope for a speedy return!

the room and salad are not very good

Always good. They offer generous portions at the price you'd expect for terikayi. They're always friendly, quick and kind. You never have to ask for extra sauce.

Good place to grab some food to eat but was better when Sue Lee owned the place. New owners aren't as friendly or talkative.

The staff was friendly and food was okay. Nothing exciting about the food. I would be okay eating there but wouldn't probably crave it. Contemplated giving 3 stars but that seemed too harsh as the food was genuinely okay/not bad.

Himitsu is excellent place to grab some fresh teriyaki or chicken curry or yakisoba. We love this place , service is great, people who work there super friendly and place is clean. You can always expect fresh ingredients in your chicken yakisoba, not heavily sauced, lots of fresh veggies and noodles al dente. We didn't know about this place till we stumbled across it while bringing our pet to the vet clinic close by.

Excellent spicy chicken and yakisoba. The General Tsos chicken is also surprisingly good. Definitely the best Teriyaki in East Redmond.
